Who is RM Sports Analytics for?
I work with clubs, schools, colleges and coaches who want a clearer understanding of their team’s performance. Whether you need support for one match or throughout a season, the analysis can be tailored to your team’s needs.
Which sports do you analyse?
My main background is in Gaelic games, but I also offer analysis across other sports. Get in touch to discuss your sport and what you want to learn from the analysis.
Can I book analysis for a single match?
Yes. You can book a single match without committing to ongoing support. Longer-term arrangements are also available for teams looking for consistent analysis throughout a competition or season.
How do you analyse our matches?
You send me your match footage, and I analyse it based on the focus and level of support we agree beforehand. The service is delivered remotely, so I can work with teams regardless of location.
Do you provide or record match footage?
No. You will need to arrange your own recording or obtain footage from another source. RM Sports Analytics provides the analysis of that footage.
What do I receive with the analysis?
This depends on the service we agree. Your analysis may include a statistical report, tagged video clips and a discussion of the main findings. We agree the focus and deliverables beforehand so you know what to expect.
Can the analysis focus on something specific?
Yes. We can focus on the areas most relevant to your team, such as scoring opportunities, possession, restarts, defensive play or opposition tendencies. The aim is to answer questions that help you prepare, coach and make decisions.
Do you provide opposition analysis?
Yes. Where suitable footage is available, I can analyse an upcoming opponent to identify patterns, strengths and areas your team may be able to exploit.
What kind of footage do you need?
The footage does not need to be professionally recorded, but the quality and camera position affect what can be analysed. A clear, steady recording of the full match that captures as much of the playing area as possible is preferable. If you are unsure whether your footage is suitable, get in touch before booking.
How do I send you the footage?
Once we agree the work, I will explain how to share your footage. If it is already stored online, you can send a download link or provide access.
Will our footage and analysis be kept confidential?
Your footage and analysis are treated as confidential. I will not share them publicly or use them for promotional purposes without your permission.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the type of analysis, the level of detail and whether you need support for a single match or over a longer period. Get in touch with your requirements and I will provide a quote before any work begins.
